Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Caker (the “Application”), developed by AlduneLabs, handles user information.

2. Data Collected

Caker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The Application runs entirely locally on your Mac. It does not send any data to remote servers and has no analytics, telemetry, or tracking functionality.

Data generated by the Application (virtual machine configurations, activity logs, disk images) is stored solely on your local device and remains under your exclusive control.

3. Device Usage

Caker may access the following system resources solely to provide its features:

  • CPU and memory: to run virtual machines.
  • Local storage: to store virtual machine disk images, configurations, and logs.
  • Networking: for communication between the host and virtual machines (virtual network interfaces, NAT, bridging). The Application itself makes no outbound connections to third-party services.

4. Third-Party Services

Caker does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

The Application relies exclusively on Apple’s Virtualization framework provided by macOS, along with other standard Apple system APIs.

5. Children’s Privacy

Caker is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

6. Data Security

Since your data remains on your device, its security depends on the protections you have applied to your Mac (FileVault encryption, password-protected account, etc.). We recommend enabling disk encryption and keeping macOS up to date.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
